David graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth (now NMMU), in 1981 with a B Com Accounting degree. He obtained his CTA in 1983 and then passed his final qualifying exams in 1984.
He commenced his articles at the firm in 1975. In 1987 he was appointed as a director and in 2008 as the managing director.
Lee completed her articles at the firm while studying part-time. She left in 1991 and joined Grant Thornton Kessel Feinstein. She passed her board exam in 1995 and was made partner in 1998. She rejoined PKF in 2000 when the two firms merged. Lee also has an H Dip Tax from UNISA.
Mark obtained his honours degree at the University of Port Elizabeth (now NMMU) in 1984. He graduated as the top Honours accounting student that year. He passed his board exam in 1985 and after completing his articles at the firm, he spent two years completing his national service in the army. He returned to the firm in 1990 and was appointed as a partner in 1991.

Samantha joined the firm in 2003 in the client accounting department while studying part-time. She obtained her B-Compt degree and CTA through Unisa. She qualified as a CA and completed her articles in 2007.

LORNA VAN GOEVERDEN
Lorna joined the firm straight out of school in 1989. At the time, she admits, she had no idea what a Chartered Accountant was but it was the only job advert in the newspaper she could find. She studied part-time at the University of Port Elizabeth (now NMMU) and qualified as a CA in 1995. Lorna was appointed as a partner in 2000.

DEON VAN ZYL
Deon obtained his B.Acc honours degree through the University of the Free State in 2003. He then served his academic articles at the university. He passed his final qualifying exam in 2005 and completed his training contract at Newtons Chartered Accountants (formerly Mazars Bloemfontein) early in 2007.
Deon was contracted as acting assistant manager at the Bloemfontein office of the Auditor General and as financial analyst at Momentum Wealth in Centurion before going overseas late in 2007.

JULI-ANN DU PREEZ
Juli-Ann graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth in 2003 with a B Comm Accounting degree. She continued her studies at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (formerly UPE) and obtained her B Comm Honours degree in Accounting in 2004. She commenced her articles in 2005 at Moores Rowland (now Mazars) and passed her qualifying exams on her first attempt. Juli-Ann qualified as a Chartered Accountant and registered in 2008.
