Holding a B Acc (Cum Laude) and B Acc Honours from the University of Stellenbosch, and qualified as a CA(SA) and Registered Auditor (RA), Maryke believes the most valuable thing the firm can build isn't a single audit file, it's the next generation of Chartered Accountants coming through it.

As Training and Development Partner, she leads the execution of PKF's national Learning and Development strategy, representing the firm on the PKF South Africa Technical Committee and Learning and Development Committee.

Her technical grounding in International Auditing Standards and IFRS for Small and Medium-sized Entities means the training she delivers is never just theory - it's built to be practical for staff at every level.

She's known for being genuinely invested in the people she trains, from first-year trainees to senior managers.
