As a Chartered Accountant (SA) and Registered Auditor, Ahmed brings broad technical expertise to his role as a Partner at PKF Durban. His experience spans listed companies, private-sector corporates and entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses, as well as public-sector work for the Auditor-General of South Africa.

Ahmed's experience includes international assurance reviews, quality-control reviews of assurance engagements and member firms, and Engagement Quality Reviews. He also spent time in London working within the Middle Market Division of a reputable firm, supporting the transition from UK GAAP to IFRS.
