A CA(SA) with a Master’s degree in Taxation and particular depth in agriculture, Deon advises owner-managed businesses on tax, trusts and estate planning.

Since 2017, he has served as an accountant member of the Tax Court for the Eastern Cape and has also presented at the Tax Indaba - bringing considerable technical depth to his work.

His earlier career spanned audit, wealth management and debt capital markets, including international roles in Bermuda and Amsterdam. That breadth gives him a valuable perspective on the financial and commercial considerations behind the advice he provides.

His client base today is primarily SMEs, family-owned businesses and trusts, with a strong agricultural focus.
