Holding a National Diploma in State Accounts and Finances, Billy has spent much of his career working with and within the public sector, including twenty years at the Auditor-General - where he rose to second-in-charge of the Mpumalanga office.

He later established and led a significant public sector practice in Mpumalanga before moving into senior public sector roles and, ultimately, joining PKF VGA.

His work today spans internal audit, financial statements, asset management, forensics, probity and supply chain management for state institutions and municipalities.

Having worked on both sides of the audit process, Billy brings an understanding of the public sector environment that helps government clients strengthen controls and improve audit outcomes.
