A CA(SA) with CIA and CRMA certifications, Rob has spent much of his career at the forefront of internal audit and risk management in South Africa, including Chief Audit Executive roles at three major national institutions and as Acting Chief Risk Officer at a national airline.
He built internal audit practices at several Big Four firms, including founding a widely-used risk management software platform.
His industry involvement has been equally extensive, having chaired the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa, served on its global board and founded corporate governance networks for the IoD in South Africa and Nigeria.
At PKF (VGA) Advisory Services, he has established Internal Audit as a significant service line, bringing risk management, compliance and forensics expertise to clients in manufacturing, medical aid schemes and the public sector.
