A training contract is a learnership contract for 3 years or more (depending on your qualifications when you join the firm). A training contract must be served at a registered training firm with SAICA accreditation.
Your training contract is the practical component of your studies towards the CA (SA) designation. During the 3 years you spend at PKF South Africa, you will be given the opportunity to apply the knowledge you gained during your Undergraduate and CTA studies to real world situations.
PKF is one of the largest mid-tier accounting firms in South Africa, providing multi-disciplinary auditing, accounting and business advisory services. The member firms have over 90+ partners and directors, and over 1000+ staff to provide clients with focused, quality personalised service and support at director level.
Our worldwide network enables the sharing of expertise and experience, and underpins the ability of local teams to offer our clients globally relevant advice, grounded in local knowledge
Appointments are the mandate of each member firm alone. However, by applying through our online application portal you can easily apply to any of our member firms and ensure that your application is forwarded to the relevant firms you are interested in applying at. You can apply for your SAICA Training Contract or Vacation Work.

Yes. PKF South Africa is part of an international network of firms. The PKF GO Programme offers secondments to staff from member firms within the PKF International network for periods between three months and two years.

Remuneration packages differ from firm to firm and region to region, although group firms do offer competitive remuneration packages for their respective regions.
