Professional Experience

Waldek is a solutions-driven, finance professional who aims to bring humanity back to the number crunching game. Waldek prides himself on practicing accountancy that is relatable for his clients and relevant to current market trends.

In addition to his position as the Managing Partner of PKF Octagon in Johannesburg, Waldek is the acting CEO of PKF South Africa. He is also the co-founder of PKF Ignite, a cloud accounting platform for small businesses. Waldek is deeply committed to charity work and has a strong belief in the importance of giving back. He is a treasurer of a charity called Headway and attends to a number of pro-bono audits for various charitable organisations.

After joining PKF Octagon in 2002, his career evolution has been decorated with mergers, acquisitions, guiding foreign affiliates through the local landscape, and the nurturing of start-up companies from infancy to competitive assets.
