Purpose of the role:
To perform all duties related to payroll for clients of the business.
- Loading and termination of employees
- Employee data changes and updates
- Monthly and weekly payrolls
- EMP201/501 input
- Leave and other statutory Administration
- Client Service
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in same or similar role
- VIP Payroll Experience Compulsory
- Basic tax knowledge advantageous
Key Duties and Responsibilities – Key Performance Indicators:
- Processing of salaries and wages
- Providing employees with sealed payslips
- Generating detailed payroll reports for clients
- Preparing electronic transfer files for net salaries of employees
- Completion and submission of EMP201 and EMP501 returns.
- Assisting clients with SARS queries as far as Employee Tax is concerned
- UI19 registrations
- Workmen’s Compensation and RMA returns
- Advising clients on salary restructuring as and when needed
- Advising clients on employee fringe benefits
- Any other reasonable adhoc duties as and when required by management

- VIP Payroll
- Microsoft Office and Excel
